I’m a Native Texan and have practiced Orthopaedic Surgery in Texas all of my career. I did do my residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota; but I got back home as quick as I could! Musculoskeletal Oncology makes up about 20-25% of my practice and the rest is Adult Reconstruction (mainly primary and revision knees and hips with some primary, reverse and revision shoulder arthroplasty). I’ve been the Chair of the program at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas since April 2010 and have been very fortunate to have an excellent group of partners working with me. I’ve got three grown children, two step-children who are all doing well, six grandkids and a lovely bride; and, oh yes, I also play guitar in a rock and roll band. Rock On!
