The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Colorado in desirable Aurora, Colorado, is seeking an experienced board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with sub-specialty in pediatric surgery to take on the role of Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedics. The ideal candidate is a very strong leader who has completed a five-year residency and a one-year fellowship, is interested in developing a clinical practice and research, and participates in the resident/fellowship education program.

The new Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedics will also take on the role of Section Chief, responsible for the programmatic and operational direction of the Pediatric Section of Orthopaedics, emphasizing faculty development and ensuring the enforcement of the department rules and regulations.

Clinical responsibilities include building your own practice and the practices of faculty within the section and actively participating in the continued growth of the pediatric orthopaedics programs at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
